Hi!

I expand on some of the tags I chose for each fandom, but not all of them, since I think the tags stand pretty well as prompts by themselves, and I do talk a lot about how I like the characters and dynamics, but that's really window dressing. Even if you didn't read the letter, anything with these characters and these freeforms would be good for me. I'll love whatever you can cook up using the chosen tag(s).

Window dressing or not, though, since this is an idfic exchange, I get kind of specific in places because I got over-excited and started just having a good time writing this letter, and I make it kind of clear who my preferred woobies are, but hopefully it's not too bad. (And I'm totally aware that it's ODAO on character roles/combinations when there's a group tag involved, and I'm sure I'll love whatever you write no matter what.)

My likes are also there to guide you, potentially, but in the end the tags are the prompts, and when it comes to context, dream up any premise you want to get us from Point A to Point Freeform Tag(s). I only ask that you make it whumpy.

Also: if you want to use more than one tag at a time (including character/group tags), feel free. If you want to write an Eldritch fic with all of the tags I chose for a fandom, each affecting different characters (or the same character all at once!), please go for it. If you matched on a single tag and want to write a fic based around that one tag, I will be thrilled, because these are all great tags. And, obviously, anything in between.

I did group tags that are similar or that could go together really well in the same spaces in the letter, but that doesn't mean I expect them to be mixed together. It was just easier than writing prompts for each other.

DNWs:

Hurt/Comfort. I LOVE the comfort, and the hurt can be as dark as you want (non-con, torture, abuse both canon and non-canon). Honestly, I encourage you to Go Places with the hurt as long as they don't hit any DNWs. These characters have to earn their mental breakdowns and lasting trauma, after all.
Non-con aftermath and recovery. General trauma aftermath and recovery.
Hopeful/bittersweet endings.
Self-harm.
Literal sleeping together. You can probably tell this from the amount of times I chose the "platonic sleeping together" freeform.
Mental health issues.
Sanity slippage and full mental breakdown.
Characters undergoing trauma (like prolonged torture/captivity) that causes a mental breakdown or even straight-up mindbreak and never being the same again, but their friends/family love them and support them. In that vein, partial recovery.

I generally really like protectiveness, especially when the protective character is a woman.

Memory loss/memory issues, up to and including brain damage and dementia.
Hugging. Crying. Hugging and crying at the same time.
Bed-wetting because of trauma and comfort related to that.
Friendship.
Give and take between woobie and non/less-woobie characters. Like, even if the woobie character can't really take care of themselves by this point, I still want them to clearly care about the other one and try their best to support them.

Hi! Thanks for writing for me, natch. If none of my prompts speak to you, please make up literally anything you want that has a couple of my likes and requested characters and one of the types of horror I chose, because I will love that. Live your best writing life.

I would love fic for any of these characters/groups and for any of these fandoms, so don't worry if it seems like I focused on one thing over another. Or if some prompt got weirdly specific. The TUA section is shorter and that's just because I rambled less, not because I wouldn't be pleased to get it. Just mine whatever you want from the prompts and the letter or just the likes. Seriously, if you don't even read the actual prompts for whatever fandom you matched on and use the horror type plus one or more of my likes as prompts, I'll love it.

Also, I know I didn't choose a lot of different kinds of horror. It's mostly because I really love breakdowns and loss of sanity and sanity slippage, so I gravitate towards psychological horror. But I'm not averse to other kinds of horror, including violence.

LIKES:

- Memory loss/memory issues, up to and including dementia

- Twisted and fluffy feelings

- Mental health issues

- Sanity slippage and full mental breakdowns

- Delusions and hallucinations, delusions especially

- Characters and those around them not knowing what's real and what isn't, especially if they have weird lives

- Suicide attempts and suicide watch

- Outsider POV and/or multiple POVs of the same situation

- Hurt/comfort--I'm a big fan of the comfort, but the hurt can be as dark as you want (non-con, abuse, torture, etc.) and given that this is a horror exchange, doesn’t have to work or happen at all.

- Characters never fully recovering from trauma, but adjusting to a new normal with support from their loved ones. HOWEVER, given that this is a horror exchange, no recovery from the trauma at all is great too, as is completely botched comfort. In fact, the horror could be in that!

- Hopeful/bittersweet endings, though unhappy endings are fine. Endings that aren’t technically happy but end up okay for the characters themselves are great too. Ambiguous endings also. Basically any endings.

- Loyalty, protectiveness, loved ones supporting each other through anything and even if they don't know how or screw up a bunch.

- Mental illness being entirely the fault of supernatural factors in that the character would go back to normal once supernatural factors are removed AND/OR the character isn't actually unstable, everyone just assumed they were because they could perceive the supernatural. I'm totally fine with characters being right about some things that sound "crazy," but I still want them to have mental health issues, not just be perceived as having them even though they're actually perfectly fine and dandy mental-health-wise.

- Smut/PWP/fic that’s E-rated due to sexual content

- Unrequested setting change AUs -- canon divergence AUs are fine

- Broken bones. (Ribs are fine.)

DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Behrad Tomaz (Tarazi) & Zari Tomaz (Tarazi)

I love all of the Legends and am happy with any canon pairings. I'd prefer season 4 or 5 Legends, and obviously season 5 if you're writing about Behrad. (Ray and Nora can be there or not if you're going with season 5.)

Season 5 isn't quite over yet, but I'm perfectly fine with diverging from canon at any point or just jumping right over whatever happens in the finale to "the back half of season 5 Legends are together again and doing timeline stuff, yay!" Same goes for diverging from canon at any point in season 4 too. Basically, everyone just being on the ship together and Legending it up is good for me.

And if you want to make this compliant with whatever happens during the finale, you go.

Basically, I would really enjoy sanity slippage in this fandom, and I'd love for the team to be there. I have a soft spot for Legends family even in the worst situations.

I do like Ava/Sara, so you don't have to hold back on that if you don't want to. I also like Zari 2.0/John, so, same there. I also like Zari 1.0/Nate. Actually I'm good with any canon pairings.

- When it comes to medical horror, I think it'd be interesting with anyone, but I'd love to see it as like a "scientists experimenting" thing. Someone finds out that Ava's a clone and just can't help themselves? Rescue is optional, but I think that aftermath fic has pretty good potential to be horrifying in itself.

- Then, with Behrad and Zari, and especially Behrad here--he knows he's "supposed" to be dead in two whole entire timelines, but they brought him back in the one he's alive in. How does he feel about that? Considering that this is a horror exchange, I'd imagine that the answer is "extremely fucked up." I think there's definitely space for sanity slippage in that, and the quieter horror of Zari watching as the brother she worked so hard to save breaks down. (I'd prefer this with Zari 2.0 if you only want one Zari.)

- Then there's also the potential for two Zaris no matter how that shakes out in the finale. Maybe if both Zaris end up in one body (but as two separate selves, Firestorm-style), her body can't actually take it? I'm fine with this ending in death for her, and body horror elements. Or both Zaris come back but start deteriorating physically or mentally really quickly, or one does and the other doesn't. And Behrad kind of...watches and has to deal with that. Helplessness and all.

- I think that for psychological horror, something having to do with isolation and sanity slippage for John, who is already not exactly mentally healthy, would be interesting, in a kind of ironic "huh, sometimes it's not so great to be completely alone, who knew?" Basically, solitary confinement and/or solitary confinement aftermath horror.

- Also I feel like something around memory loss for any of these characters would be fascinating. And just their teammates watching from the outside and not being able to do anything. Or fucked up memory stuff where they don’t consistently remember their teammates or that certain things that have happened are over and so on, and keep reliving things but not in a supernatural/induced way, they just keep forgetting.

- Or basically anything, honestly, this is just spitballing. And you can use any of the less character-specific prompts for any character.

Mike Hanlon & Pennywise

Solo: Mike Hanlon

I love Mike Hanlon and I love all of the possibilities there are for horror with those 27 years he spent in Derry. I'm into the idea of fic during the 27 or after those years, but things are still messed up for him. I would really like something delving into his "relationship" with Pennywise over those years, while It was subtly manipulating his reality and Mike's own grasp on reality was slipping too. And then there's a couple of AU prompts.

Basically my only ship is Bill/Mike, but I love friendship between him and any and all of the Losers.

I'm okay with sexual creepiness, just nothing explicit.

(Note that when I say Pennywise, Pennywise = IT, so he can be in non-Pennywise form, though Pennywise form would be preferred, but he can shift and so on.)

Prompts:

- AU where Pennywise is a human serial killer who kidnaps Mike when Mike's a (not underage) teenager! His getting rescued would be great but absolutely not necessary, though I think there could definitely be a horror story in an aftermath situation too. He could be stuck with Pennywise for a really long time, or not that long. I just think it would be an interesting parallel to his staying in Derry.

- AU where Pennywise kidnaps Mike in canon (second movie canon, though pre-second movie when not all of the Losers have moved away would be interesting) and bad things happen! Rescue optional.

- For either of the previous AUs: Mike slowly going mad while with Pennywise and maybe developing Stockholm syndrome. Note that I'm not looking for outright evil!Mike who helps Pennywise with his murdering, and would prefer even a Stockholmed Mike to be anti-murder and torture.

- Sidenote: as stated before somewhere, the aftermath of Mike's kidnapping by Pennywise would be great grounds for horror too imo, dealing with the aftermath of terrible things.

- Mike slowly going mad while in Derry during his canon 27 years, and It managing to stalk him even when It's asleep just because It's always on his mind and may be poisoning his mind too.

- Mike dealing with being in Derry while knowing that the place corrupts adults, and that not helping his mental health at all.

- Mike still being haunted by Derry after leaving even though It is, in fact, gone, and his friends trying to help him but...it's pretty dire. (And scary.) Basically Mike's mental state deteriorating after It is gone too. Memory loss or gaps in memories or consistently forgetting what's real and what isn't, or what's over and done with, would be amazing.

So, I mean, Luther's literally had body horror and medical horror happen to him in the show, and I would love some exploration of how fucked up that is, and especially how it affects him not just when he's by himself but when he's around others. (A no apocalypse universe is totally fine, but I do not want fic where the adult-bodied Hargreeves were de-aged too.)

Prompts:

- A loving, horrifying depiction of how utterly fucked up what happened to Luther is and how he feels about it.

- Luther's body slowly rejecting the serum could be super fucked up. What could happen to him in that situation?

- Luther snapping and self-mutilating to try and "fix" himself, and/or trying to kill himself. I think it would be interesting to do this in a situation where some or all of the other siblings are involved and at a loss for what to do, so they maybe end up drugging him or rumoring him or something. (Maybe Vanya tries her hand at sedation...) I would like to see the Hargreeves totally fucking up when Luther breaks down, basically. Unhappy endings welcome.

- Luther and Vanya getting captured and tortured and experimented on. Talk about forced sibling bonding.

Hello hello! Thank you so much for writing for me. Please know that when I say that my specific prompts are extremely optional and my likes are, in fact, prompts, I really mean it. I chose these fandoms and these relationships in the fandoms because I really want to read about them, the end, and I love everything in my likes, so if you want to write something based on a certain like that I didn't so much as mention in the section of my letter you were assigned to, I'll be thrilled. (It’s totally fine if you don’t even read the section of my letter that corresponds to what you were assigned!)

Also, if you like a part of a prompt for another ship with or without the same character, you should totally go for it. I'm also happy with having different requested groupings in one story.

Some sections of this letter are longer than others, and some ships have more prompts. Why? Because I just had more ready-made prompts and so on for those, or I just really felt like rambling about that particular thing, or I wanted to clarify my clarifications. Also, I know that this is a 300 word minimum and I am not even kind of expecting anything over 300 words. I say this because several of the prompts are for longer stories, but self-contained parts of those stories, either at the beginning or in the thick of them or aftermath, are much appreciated too.

Also, I know my prompts and likes skew whumpy. If you’re not into that, don’t worry about it. I’ve tried to include less extreme prompts, and I’ll stress again that you can definitely just go from something in my likes, which include things that I think are lighter.

It (Movies - Muschietti)

I watched It: Chapter 1 and liked it a lot. Then I watched It: Chapter 2 and fell absolutely in love with the characters and the story and the Power of Friendship.

Fandom-specific DNWs: Time travel or time loops or general time shenanigans. Richie not being gay. Mike not being over 18 in a Mike/Pennywise situation. Abusive, unsympathetic Leroy or Denbroughs.

Ships-wise, if you want to include stuff in the background or within one of the gen groupings, I really like Bill/Mike (that's one of my actual requested ships, though), and I'm good with Ben/Bev, Richie/Eddie, Patty/Stan, and Audra/Bill in a situation where Bill/Mike doesn't happen. (I'd prefer no endgame Myra/Eddie, though.) I am also perfectly happy with any married parents being together, if it comes up at any point.

If you're going for post-canon, I am happy with canon-compliant fic, or with Eddie living, or with Stan AND Eddie living. I'd rather Pennywise stay dead, though.

I'm putting this particular pairing first because it's kind of also a prompt for the later sections and I come back to it in later sections. It allows for amazing whumpy backstory and/or h/c potential for Mike, and aftermath fic would be great. Please do not assume that this means I’m not happy with just Mike/Pennywise or no Mike/Pennywise having happened or being mentioned at all.

I do not see this pairing as consensual, because Pennywise is a supernatural alien being who murders children and is essentially the bane of Mike's existence, whereas Mike is Mike, but honestly, if you want to write consensual Mike/Pennywise...I'm listening. (Or if you want the consent more dubious/seemingly more dubious.) I'm not looking for outright evil!Mike who helps Pennywise with his murdering, though, and would prefer even a Stockholmed Mike to be anti-murder and torture.

I know I requested no graphic sex scenes, which includes non-con, and that still stands. Fade to black, aftermath, creepy badtouching, general creepiness, no-touching-but-definitely-sexualized-threats, and anything but explicit-due-to-sexual-content is a-okay.

BILL DENBROUGH/MIKE HANLON

My OTP. :) I very rarely have OTPs, but I came out of Chapter 2 shipping Bill/Mike hard and I'd really love anything about them post-Chapter 2 especially. During is also good. Or something about them remembering a past relationship that they had. Getting together fic would make me happy, but I also really like established relationship fic! I just really liked their chemistry and the way that they connected and Mike’s devotion to Bill and Bill’s devotion to Mike (he saved his life~) and I want them to make out and be in love and stuff.

Specific prompts if you want them:

- Dealing with nightmares/night terrors after Derry.

- Dealing with grief and trauma.

- Mike and Bill have had very different experiences with Derry in that Mike’s the one who remembered for all those years and stayed, and Bill didn’t. Does Bill feel guilty about that? I mean, it’s Bill. He definitely feels guilty about that. Maybe it leads to some codependence, especially if Mike’s mental health kind of actually gets worse now that it’s all over and/or he gets depressed.

- Conversely/in addition to Mike remembering, Bill getting all those memories back can’t be easy, not to mention having gone through even more trauma. And he forgave himself for what happened to Georgie, but did he, though? I mean, yeah, he did, but probably that guilt didn’t go all the way away.

- Bad things happened to either or both of them in the 27 years they weren’t together and either is reluctant to tell the other about whatever bad thing happened?

- Maybe…they get a cat…and don’t name it Stanley or Eddie. (Unless Stanley and/or Eddie are alive, in which case that would be funny.) No but seriously, an ugly stray cat who loves them.

MIKE HANLON/PATRICIA BLUM URIS/STANLEY URIS

- I saw this in the tagset and boy oh BOY am I down for it. I'm thinking post-Chapter 2, Stan lives? Something along those lines? How does it happen? Does Mike come around to visit and then kind of not leave? Does Patty slowly fall for him? Did Stan already have feelings for him from way back when, or is it new? How might the others react? I'd love getting-together or established relationship for this.

Other specific prompts:

- Mike keeps thinking that Stan's dead. It's kind of a problem. Do with that what you will.

- Patty trying to understand what Stan and Mike have been through and make sense of Stan’s suicide attempt, and knowing she’ll never quite be able to, but she loves them a lot.

- So what did Bev see when she saw all of their deaths? Were they all suicides? Can they all be suicides? They don’t have to be. But still. Maybe they were and she’s scared that it could still happen.

- Everyone lives together in an Unrealistic Codependent Roommate Situation In A Big Codependence Mansion and tries to deal with their grief and their trauma. There are nightmares. The world after It is surreal and fucked up to them and they’re the only ones who really understand. (But also there’s Mike, who never had the chance to make a life outside of Derry and that sucks and he doesn’t want to talk about it.)

- The others visit Ben and Bev, who still have their own issues even though they are in love.

- Getting to know each other again. Maybe they discover that they’ve already basically been trying to keep in touch in some way even if they didn’t know it—watching interviews, stand-up, Bev’s fashion shows, reading Bill’s books, etc. (And Mike obviously has been keeping up.)

- Outsider POV social media stuff? Fans discovering a connection between these different celebrities? Richie

(- Tbh, Eddie can live/you can consider an & Eddie Kaspbrak tacked onto this if your heart wants it. Same goes with Stan. I just didn’t request all the Losers because I’m mostly asking for post-Chapter 2 fic.)

The Good Place

MICHAEL & JASON MENDOZA

I like all of the canon ships, so any of them are fine to include. Also, I REALLY love Jason/Janet. I think their relationship is really sweet and supportive, and I enjoy them. I also like Janet & Michael's friendship a lot.

I'm really into Jason and Michael's relationship, and season four has reminded me of that. Jason clearly looks up to Michael and likes and trusts him (Michael's a ten! He's only not an eight because he was torturing them!), and Michael gives off such Exasperated Dad Vibes with Jason. It delights me. I also think that Michael definitely has an overprotective (and/or condescending) streak towards Jason that I think is really interesting, what with leaving him out of the loop or underexplaining things and going "it's okay" instead. Mostly, though, I think that the relationship's really sweet, and Michael is demonically doing his best, and so is Jason.

Also, set this in any season, or in some future where they're in the Real Good Place, or some random divergence from canon, or a mundane human AU. Whatever. I know the canon is ongoing and hell knows where it’s gonna go.

I love the rest of Team Cockroach, so including them in significant ways is totally fine and even encouraged.

Knives Out (2019)

This movie was so damn funny, and I came out of it thinking about how great Marta was and how much fun the investigators were. I wanted like a million hours of Lt Det Elliott and Trooper Wagner being buddies, with Blanc also there for some reason, being ridiculous(ly competent), and also Marta.

Everyone else was also hilarious, but those characters really captured my heart, with Elliott being kind of world (or maybe just coworker) weary and work-focused, and Blanc being all intense but also super weird, and Wagner being overenthusiastic and eager to please, and Marta being a genuinely good person and a good nurse...(I may or may not have absolutely teared up when Blanc assured Marta that she hadn't killed Harlan at all.)

Anyway, this movie was a lot of fun and the characters just jumped out at me and it was so fast-paced and interesting and genuinely moving, I loved it.

(I wasn’t very good at thinking of specific prompts for this, so I’m mostly just writing the things I like about the groups.)

- I loved the parts of the movie that showed Elliott being so weary of his dramatic or overly enthusiastic coworkers, like how he attempted to soldier on while Blanc plunked at the piano or rolled his eyes when Wagner proudly gave the title of that Lifetime movie. I also liked the bit where Wagner’s chattering about how, like, the statues all have to do with Harlan’s books and Elliott’s like “yes that’s very interesting,” and how he’s willing to go with Blanc but not too far.

Weary he may be, but he is also tolerant and professional. In any case, I liked those dynamics. I don’t know if he’s actually partnered with Trooper Wagner or what, but also I don’t care about realism so let’s go with that. Buddy cops!

And then if Blanc is there too, I would so love to see Blanc just…constantly waltzing into the precinct and consulting on cases. And occasionally not even consulting. He’s just there. Why? No one knows. Maybe he’s bored. Maybe he’s snooping for his own cases. Maybe crazy cases just seem to follow Elliott and Wagner around.

And then, if you want to go for the last grouping, maybe Blanc is also drawn to the precinct because he may or may not have feelings for Elliott. Wagner enthusiastically approves, not that his approval is needed. Possibly Wagner outsider POV of Blanc/Elliott would be cute, but he does not have to be involved.

- Basically everything above applies but also Marta. I love Marta. Marta is a wonderful human being and should totally make friends with Elliott and Wagner (honestly I can see her getting on with both of them) and private detect with Blanc. She should. So…something like that? Where she’s also getting used to the whole “being rich now” thing. And everything that happened to her in the movie, because all of that must’ve been traumatic. She nearly got killed!

Maybe it could involve crazy cases following Elliott and Wagner around or Blanc and Marta taking all these crazy cases and Elliott and Wagner being their go-to’s at the precinct.

Incidentally, any whump for any of the characters here would be so appreciated. Whump from the likes above? Assault? Gunshot wounds? Elliott or Blanc declaring love due to a near-death experience? Elliott or Blanc declaring love due to someone else’s near-death experience? Marta dealing with PTSD and/or depression? Down for that. Hi, author! Thank you for writing for me. This letter isn't super meaty and I'm a bit worried that it's not too coherent either (I got a little excited), but I hope it helps you out, and note that my likes act as prompts. If any of them catch your eye please write about them. (And also if any of my likes or prompts make you balk, just know I'm definitely not expecting any of those.)

My DW is 99% letters, so if you feel like browsing through any of them and cribbing prompts from them for the fandoms I requested, that's great. I like all of the canon relationships, so any of them are fine to include. Also, I REALLY love Jason/Janet. I think their relationship is really sweet and supportive, and I enjoy them. I also like Janet & Michael's friendship a lot.

I'm really into Jason and Michael's relationship, and season four has reminded me of that. Jason clearly looks up to Michael and likes and trusts him (Michael's a ten! He's only not an eight because he was torturing them!), and Michael gives off such Exasperated Dad Vibes with Jason. It delights me. I also think that Michael definitely has an overprotective (and vaguely condescending) streak towards Jason that I think is really interesting, what with leaving him out of the loop or underexplaining things and going "it's okay" instead. So I think that's interesting to look at too--how Michael's a demon and has a lot of power and knowledge so obviously the way he relates to someone who's...easily confused, to say the least, is going to be a bit conflicted. But I mostly think that the relationship's really sweet, and Michael is demonically doing his best, and so is Jason.

Also, set this in any season, or in some future where they're in the Real Good Place, or some random divergence from canon, or a mundane human AU. Whatever.

I love the rest of Team Cockroach, so including them in significant ways is totally fine and even encouraged.

I love this show! I love the relationship between Nadia and Alan! I feel like there's protectiveness and sweetness and that they genuinely like each other and also I am so down for mommy issues and mental health issues and friendship, so this show was amazing for me. I don't really ship it, but I wouldn't mind a relationship that's so intense it's ambiguous whether it's romantic or not. Basically, I'd just rather there isn't sexual tension and they don't make out or declare feelings for each other on-screen. I just really loved their friendship. Like the part where Nadia tells drunk!Alan a bedtime story? Awww. And the way that they really, genuinely care about each other by the end of the show did me in.

I would really like post-canon fic for this show, once the time loop is over, but fic during the time loops where they further connect would be great too.

(I also really liked the supporting characters, Ruth and Farran especially, so do with that what you will.)

Darkest Night Letter 2019

Some clarifications:

I expand on some of the tags I chose for each fandom, but please note that any things I ramble about related to those tags are suggestions, and if you like some things I suggest and don't like others, go ahead and pick and choose. If your muse is going somewhere that doesn't fit anything I said, then be free! My likes are also there to guide you, potentially.

In the end, the tags are the prompt, as are the characters or groups I chose. If a certain tag seems like it would “work” better for a certain character or group of characters than another, but you want to write it for another character or group, go for it! If I wouldn’t be happy with that particular interpretation, I wouldn’t have requested those characters and groupings in the same request. If there’s a group tag, you can choose any character to get the brunt of the darkness, even if I don’t mention them, or spread it out. Also, if I expand on a tag and don’t mention a character you want to write about, go for it anyway.

In this fandom, I guess I’d prefer post-canon or canon divergence.

I do like the idea of weirdly domestic Hargreeves fic where they have space to breathe and try not to process their trauma and fuck up constantly and either share a mansion or apartments or hotel rooms. So, like, an AU where the apocalypse actually didn’t happen, or just post-canon with a mission that allows for some more breathing room (but also space for missions where characters can get hurt). So basically, diverge from canon or go with canon, I just have one DNW for this fandom: I do not want fic where the adult-bodied Hargreeves were also de-aged.

I would also prefer that whump not be focused on Klaus, but if that’s your jam, go for it.

I love how messed up the Hargreeves siblings are and how much they screw up with each other and resent each other but still do care about each other. I’d be really interested in unhealthy overprotectiveness. Deeply unhealthy, codependent relationships also. If Ben is alive again, I think it would be really interesting to have his resurrection be traumatic for him and/or his siblings (or some of his siblings, or one of his siblings) be overprotective to his detriment.

For Luther and Vanya, I’m just really into their relationship. It’s been so screwed up by the end of the show, and I just want to see how it could heal or fall apart even more. Maybe they’re both wary of each other. Maybe they kind of hate each other. Maybe they’re just sad. A pre-canon AU where they team up with each other for some reason and run away together would be cool too. I’d like to see either of them suffering or getting captured and tortured, and it would be really interesting with both of them.

I adore all the other characters that surround Scott and Sam. Including the rest of Team Cap or various other Avengers or the other Ant-Man characters is welcome.

I like Sam as a not-necessarily-as-put-together-as-he-seems kind of guy with his own issues, and would never say no to Sam whump. (That said, I would never say no to Scott whump either. Or whump for both of them.)

I’d be happy with an established relationship or get-together where whatever terrible thing that happens brings Sam and Scott together.

Only Two Left Alive - Is this a post-apocalyptic AU? Are they the only two human beings left alive on the planet? Are they the sole survivors of something that wiped out most superheroes?

For Sam, I love his relationships with anyone, so if you want to include, idk, Bucky or Steve or other members of Team Cap, that’s great! I would like Sam as the whumped party, though, and other characters trying to help. Sam completely on his own would be great too. Also, I’m fascinated with his relationship with Riley, so including that would be awesome.

I liked Endgame, and anything post-Endgame where he’s dealing with being Snapped and/or his new responsibilities as Cap and/or missions gone extra wrong would be great. Old Steve is welcome.

Solitary Confinement

Psychological Torture, Torture Recovery - Could be of any stripe, could be in addition to the solitary confinement, could be solitary confinement in itself. Post-Endgame, Sam is captured and tortured while acting as Cap?

Character Survived Their Adventures/Ordeal But Will Never Be The Same Again

Descent into Madness, Sanity Slippage, Mental Breakdown - This could go super well with solitary confinement or torture. A completely isolated Sam slowly losing his mind…

On the other hand, it could very well be Sam falling into mental illness and his mental health slowly deteriorating due to being Snapped or stress.

Mentally Unstable Character is Aware of Their Instability - I really like the idea of Sam knowing that he’s slipping but not being able to do anything about it because of his pride or total lack of access to any help (like if he’s been isolated). Also a post-torture Sam back in the “real world”, getting help from his friends but knowing he’s different now and that his reactions to things aren’t normal and that he’s hallucinating and so on…

Hallucinations of a loved one - I’d love to see this with Riley in any situation.

I’m totally fascinated by John’s issues. He’s been hospitalized before, he snapped completely in the messed-up timeline he made to save Dez, he’s mentally unstable and knows it, but the Legends are way too stubborn to not try to help.

On the other hand, if you want to write another one of the characters going through the scenarios in the freeform tags and John being in the position of trying to…help?…that would be super interesting too.

I also think that any of these characters stuck together would be really fun, and also torture. John getting into a really bad situation and trying to hide exactly how bad it was even as his mental health starts deteriorating from the stress would be fun. Same goes for any of the other characters. I love Charlie and John’s relationship and John and Zari’s relationship and the relationship between all three, and something that takes place in the altered timeline would be great. A canon divergence after that altered timeline where it turns out that John’s still not well would be great too.

Aftermath of Torture, Torture Recovery - John is significantly less lucky in Hell? He’s just captured and tortured, no Hell needed? Zari or Charlie is captured and John saves them? Zari or Charlie and John get captured and tortured together and have bonded painfully after the fact?

This will always be my OTP. Always and forever.

...And considering that Sam and Scott admittedly haven’t interacted thaaaaat much in canon, AUs are PERFECT for them.

I adore all the other characters that surround Scott and Sam. Including the rest of Team Cap or various other Avengers or the other Ant-Man characters would be great in any AU.

I feel like Sam’s capacity for brooding is often left untapped, and Steve and Bucky as Sam’s friends who are always trying to get him to get out there and ~*~*~live~*~*~ in a mundane AU where he’s a veteran, or in a canon AU, would be sincerely hilarious. I like Sam as a not-necessarily-as-put-together-as-he-seems kind of guy with his own issues, and would never say no to Sam whump. (That said, I would never say no to Scott whump either. Or whump for both of them.)

I see both of them with problems and hang-ups but still having a happy, supportive relationship in the end with a lot of the issues coming from the outside.

A past Hope/Scott relationship in any AU is a-okay, and her having a role in the story is equally a-okay, either as exes who are friends or as friends who aren’t exes. I’d prefer Sam with no previous romantic connection to other MCU characters. Background pairings for any of the other characters are fine.

I’m actually kind of prompting a lot of these AUs under the mundane umbrella, but you don’t have to make them mundane. (By mundane here I mean “no one was ever a superhero, that’s not a thing”.)

ALL: Alternate First Meetings — Honestly, this one’s pretty open-ended for me in that I can’t quite think of a specific prompt, but this could pretty much go with any of the AUs below barring the MCU-specific ones, or it could also be them meeting differently in some different point in the MCU proper.

ALL: Dark — I love the idea of dark versions of these characters. Mad scientist Scott? Dishonorably discharged Sam with a lot of knowledge of anatomy from his time as a PJ? (And a certain flair for torture?) Either of them as having been experimented on?

ALL: Apocalypse AU — Any kind of apocalypse would be amazing here. Sam and Scott teaming up for any reason (maybe they’ve lost touch with the people they’re closest too? Don’t feel afraid to kill other characters off either) would be awesome. A mundane AU or Sam and Scott hooking up in more ways than one after some kind of apocalyptic event (including [insert bad guy] winning at any point) in the MCU proper would both be interesting. One of my favorite things in apocalyptic scenarios is characters going a little nuts, so don’t be afraid to lean into that.

ALL: Romantic Comedy AU— I just desperately want to know what you’d come up with this omg. Fuse the pairing with your fave rom-com. Just include as many rom-com tropes as possible. Go wild.

ALL: Secret Relationship Is Publicly Revealed— This is one where I like the idea of a canon AU. Sam and Scott are together since X point in the MCU canon, but their relationship is only revealed once Sam becomes Cap? Or something of the sort. (Coming out and homophobia as a plot point would be totally cool here.)

MCU: Character suffers permanent injury in final Endgame battle — I’d be down for this with Scott or Sam. Maybe the two of them are in an established relationship, or they were in a relationship/had a fling at some point, and the injury brings them back together? I prefer brain damage or some kind of internal injury to something like amputation. Also, both of them suffering a life-changing injury in the final battle and bonding over that would be neat too.

IRON MAN MOVIES

Friendship between Yinsen and Pepper and Rhodey in an AU where Tony dies (and maybe Yinsen becomes Iron Man instead) would be amazing too.

I’m super interested in Luther’s relationship with his siblings and also what might’ve happened if he’d left his dad behind earlier. Maybe he had an injury (brain damage, internal injury, some kind of serious psychological injury, etc.) at some point that made him fall from grace in Reginald’s eyes and so he becomes closer to one of his siblings like Vanya or Diego? Or he knows Ben is with Klaus and leaves with them/Ben helps convince him to go? Basically, how and why would Luther leave Reginald when he’s younger?

I’m also always really fascinated by how much Ben seems to care about Luther, so I think that either an AU where Ben’s still a ghost but Luther knows about him or an AU where Ben’s alive could be awesome. A more Ben-centric version of the Ben lives AU would be A+ too. I love Ben.

And if you matched with me on Allison and Ben, fic where Ben and Allison leave together could be really interesting in a Ben Lives AU! I'd love to see more of their relationship, since it's clear that Allison really misses him. Maybe a codependent kind of thing, maybe healthier, whatever you see. Hell, maybe Ben goes along with Allison and gets into Hollywood in front of or behind the camera too.

I love this show, I love the characters, I want good things for them, and also h/c, and also pain. I contain multitudes. Nadia’s self-conscious, defensive selfishness mixed with protectiveness is really interesting, as is Alan’s inability to get help and desperate fear of pretty much everything. Their relationship is intense and caring and the way they’re connected is both heartbreaking and sweet.

I think that the parallels between Nadia’s mother and Alan himself are really fascinating and something that can definitely be explored. I’d be really happy to see them meeting in some other way that doesn’t involve a time loop at all, like being roommates, or the time loop stopping before it starts because they actually bumble into helping each other the first time and then somehow connect.

Then the apocalypse is just fun tbh. Imagine how messed up these characters would be in a post-apocalypse (of any kind) situation! That could also go with alternate first meetings. Or maybe it's an apocalyptic time loop and the apocalypse either happens or doesn't at the end.

(I really love all the side characters here too, especially Farran and Ruth, so if you want to include them, be my guest.)

If you want to write a story based off of one of my more specific likes or by mixing and matching my likes, I’ll love it, and if you get an idea that at least brushes any of my likes and doesn’t hit a DNW, go for it. Hurt/Comfort Exchange 2019

I try not to be too effusive in my exchange letters, but omg I’m so excited for this exchange!!! Seriously, I’m totally and completely over the moon here, so please forgive this letter for being all over the place.

But first, some clarifications:

In the end, the tags are the prompt, but also within those mini essays I wrote for all the fandoms, there are definitely prompts. Still. The tags are the prompt, and if I didn’t expand on a tag you want to use, or I expanded on it in a way you didn’t like, just know that if you write about it, I’ll still love it.

Go for any of the groups I chose, and dream up any premise you want if you want to write about a more specific freeform—is a character getting held back so as not to hurt themselves because of torture? Delirium? Something I haven’t thought of? You choose! Make it as twisted as you want, I dare you! (A lot of this letter has to do with ostentatious mental whump, I’m not gonna lie.)

Some fandom sections are way, way longer than others. It is notable. This is not a sign that I want one fandom more than another, just that I think that the tags speak for themselves and it turned out that I really wanted to ramble about those particular fandoms today. I chose these fandoms and these character combinations because I will reach quite frankly embarrassing levels of excitement if I get anything for any of them. Also, most of this letter focuses on the comfort, but you can go as hard as you want with the hurt as long as the comfort is still a big part of the story.

If you want to use more than one tag at a time (including group tags), feel free! If you want to write an Eldritch fic with all of the tags I chose for a fandom, go for it, and if you want to write a fic based around just one tag, go for that too. And anything in between. If there are several characters in a certain group tag and you’d prefer to just focus on a few as the comforter, that’s cool too.

Dear writer,

Thank you for writing for me! All of my specific prompts are optional, and my likes also act as prompts. Chicago Med

Isidore Latham, Connor Rhodes

Vague s4 spoilers.

I have such a soft spot for Latham. I love him in general, and I think he’s one of the best autistic characters I’ve seen on TV, and of the regulars Connor is my favorite, and I love their friendship. I’d be super thrilled with friendship fic developing more of the connection that they have in the show. I like how supportive they are of each other, and especially Connor’s moments of protectiveness and understanding. They just really seem to like each other, including in season three when Latham doesn’t get as much screen time. I’d love to see some stuff post-s4 where Latham’s no longer Connor’s boss.

Note that I like all of the main characters and would welcome any of them in small or large roles in any fic. I’m especially interested in Natalie’s friendship with Latham—how’d they meet? How and why did they bond? I’m also fond of Connor and Will having a grudging friendship.

I am good with all of the canon ships, except I DNW Robin/Connor and Ava/Connor having a relationship during the fic. Their having had a relationship in the past is fine. I also DNW any unrequested non-canon ships.

Also, I know this is an ongoing canon, and I will be keeping up! (And yeah, I'm not sure if Latham's even going to be back much in s4, but I still love him and I figure he's still up there in the OR.)

Here are some specific prompts if you want them, and yeah, Chicago Med’s one of my favorite fandoms for possible coming out stories, but if that's not your cup of tea I am not expecting anything:

I’d love fic where Latham’s gay, and/or fic about him discovering/accepting that he’s gay. How would he feel about it? What would his potential Big Gay Panic be like? Would he be frustrated that it took him so long to figure it out? I can see him always having blamed not being able to find anyone on there being something ‘wrong with him’, but now that he actually knows he’s autistic and has had treatment, he’s starting to think that he’s actually just not all that attracted to women, best efforts notwithstanding. I would totally dig him confiding in Connor and Connor making a heroic, slightly weary effort to be supportive.

In conjunction with or separate from the above, Latham getting a boyfriend and coming out, in that order. Or the opposite order.

Honestly, giving Connor a boyfriend who he’s in love with to the point where it’s likely they’ll spend the rest of their lives together and having him come out (even accidentally…like his boyfriend ends up in the hospital and Connor’s both the emergency contact and very obviously worried about him and very much in love with him) as bi would be amazing too. Awkward but supportive reactions galore! (Dr. Charles being great about it!) His sister! His dad! (I'd imagine that that may be...less supportive a reaction.)

Latham getting taken advantage of (you can go as light or dark as you want with that) and Connor helping him out.

I’ve always been interested in Connor taking after his mother and having a mental health crisis, up to and including a full breakdown and/or suicide attempt. Latham and/or the ensemble being involved would be really interesting.

Y’know, I’m not a shipper, but I’d be down for Connor/Latham, preferably post-s3 so that there’s no 'someone's directly above the other one' relationship drama (though the attraction can definitely start in season two).

The Good Place

Jason Mendoza

Spoilers for season three! Also, I know this is an ongoing canon and you can be assured that I’m watching it as it comes out, so don’t worry about including things from episodes as they come out.

I love this show so much, and Jason was my favorite the second he opened his mouth, and I am forever and ever fascinated by him. I asked for just him because I really want Jason-centric fic for this fandom, but several of my prompts involve other characters and I would be thrilled with the inclusion of Team Cockroach/the Brainy Bunch/the Soul Squad. I love his friendships with the others, any of them or all of them. But!!! If you want to write fic just about him, literally no other canon character involved, I am happy with that, because, as I said, I love him.

I’d be really into something that digs a little deeper into his issues (everything about his past is so funny but so dark, and I one hundred percent support looking at that). Hurt/comfort would be awesome. Whump, also awesome. Any general scenario from my likes, awesome. Complete ODAO, go for it.

I am happy with fic that takes place anywhere, at any point in time, but I would especially love fic set in season two or season three, including some random reboot we don't see or only see for a second and especially that year long gap in season three.

I’m fine with Simone/Chidi, Chidi/Eleanor, and/or Eleanor/Tahani as background pairings. I am totally cool with Jason/Janet shipfic too.

Jason having trauma from the way he almost died. I would read a million fics of this. Hurt/comfort is also greatly encouraged. Also, maybe he actually is claustrophobic. Obviously, he’s okay with going into the MRI…or is he? Was he at the beginning?

I’m still kind of stuck on Lynyrd Skynyrd High School tbh, and Jason’s comments about the teacher/s who got arrested for having sex with their students. (It seems like it was definitely implied Jason was one of them, and it seems like the entire school was literally just a horrible fraud.) Plus there’s definitely Florida Stories that went terribly, terribly wrong. I’d love to see how any of that could’ve affected him and possibly the others being vaguely or very uncomfortable with his cheerfully warped view of the world, but, like…do you explain that a bad thing happened to someone if he doesn’t know, or is that just mean? Or does he maybe know? Is he in denial? Is it actually better to explain? (This can obviously take place any time in canon.)

Jason and Eleanor hanging out during season three, getting to know each other, having a weird amount of heart to hearts, Eleanor feeling a completely inexplicable need to protect Jason from himself/spiders, Jason giving weirdly good advice…

I’d honestly like to see more Jason & Michael friendship.

Chidi tutoring Jason when he realizes that he has not exactly had the world’s most intensive education, and Chidi wants him to actually understand what’s going on in class, damn it, he leaves no man behind when it comes to moral philosophy.

Jason/Janet with any kind of Jason whump and protective Janet, powered or de-powered in season three. Maybe there’s even situations during reboots where Jason’s so goddamn miserable that it gets to be torture for Janet too for some reason…

I would be so incredibly down with fic that explores illegal drug use and possibly addiction in Jason's life. So down. Especially if it included h/c and/or recovery.

Max Jennifer, Leroy Wright

Spoilers for the show here, by the way.

I love this show and Max and Leroy and their relationship so much. Sometimes I rewatch the scene where Max and Leroy go through all of the Rocky films that Leroy has on VHS just to cheer myself up. They’re such good partners. I just want to see them continue being good partners, and maybe hang out outside of work.

That said, I know that the show continuity is confusing and it sometimes seems like two shows, and I’d actually prefer you write the story in the pre-retool universe (when LaFrey is still in charge and there’s the monster of the week plot, including the last episode that they aired with the aliens). However, I will be happy with literally anything you write for this show, including something set firmly within the retool. I just love Max and Leroy.

I DNW any ships here, though past relationships are fine.

Leroy having guilt issues about his former partner! He can’t get over his partner’s death and thinking that it was his fault, he’s never gonna let himself get over it, and he can be really overbearing towards his new partner because of it, but it keeps him up at night. Plus Max is more vulnerable than his old partner ever was (for example, he can’t shoot a fucking gun, and his mental health is only so-so), and that makes Leroy feel very tense.

I would love something exploring the idea that maybe things weren’t awesome between Max and his wife when she left because she was abusive. Maybe she threatened to leave a lot, up to and including packing a suitcase, which is why Max was so blasé about the fact that she was packing when she was abducted. I would love to see him expanding on their relationship to Leroy, oblivious to the fact that Leroy’s getting steadily more and more disturbed.

I’d be totally into seeing Max with mental health issues and how confusing it is to live in a world where sometimes the monsters are real and he’s being reasonable, and sometimes they’re not and he’s really not.

Josh Segal, Dwayne Reed, Anne Flatch

I am deeply, deeply attached to this wonderful, hilarious show, and I will sing its praises until I am blue in the face. I love Josh, I love Dwayne, I love Anne, I love the dream team so much. I just want to see them together. I want to see them outside of work, maybe with Anne’s family because we know she has a husband and daughter and she and Josh and Dwayne are close enough that they definitely know Anne’s family. And they love each other so much, and know each other so well! Agh!

I also love Carol Anne, but I want the fic to be dream team focused and that’s why I didn’t choose her too. Even so, I am totally happy for her to be in the fic, and for Princess Anne to be in the fic (though I’d rather no fic that’s specifically about the baby). I do ship Josh/Carol Anne, so if you want to include that, go for it. If you want to include any season one specific characters, go for that too, and I love East Peck, so any Peckers are also welcome!

Okay, but—the zombie apocalypse comes to East Peck. Do not tell me they wouldn’t absolutely slay (ha!) at getting through a zombie apocalypse.

From the moment I saw the inside of Josh’s house I knew…this is a man who definitely goes thrifting and antiquing. (Where does he find those tea sets? Tell me he collects them. Did he cross stitch the ‘home is where the Josh is’ pillow himself? These are important questions.) Dwayne and Anne tag along. Maybe they all try to figure out how to play Dominos with that set that Josh bought for decoration. (One of the clocks sits on top of it, I swear it’s there.)

Give Dwayne a boyfriend and/or a coming out story, please…that would be so sweet and potentially angsty, whichever way you want. East Peck is probably not the best place in the world to grow up a future confirmed bachelor. (No wonder he decides he’s in love with Summer. It would be so easy to have a girlfriend he doesn’t even have to kiss! Or maybe he’s bi but just leans way more towards guys.) Josh and Anne would be so supportive. Awkward? Maybe. But supportive. Maybe there’s a Dwayne/OMC love story. Maybe it’s with one of the cameramen.

If you want to go darker, I am all for whump and h/c for any of these characters, especially with stuff from my general likes. Maybe Josh with a Stepford Smiler thing going on, and/or depression? And/or OCD?

Also also, some of these fandoms have more prompts than others. That says nothing about how much I want the fandom, only that I had more prompt ideas for it. On a shipfic note--I like Carol Anne/Josh, though I'd still rather fic not be romance-focused. You can include Princess Anne or not.

Trick ideas:

- Anne's grandmother's death and Anne's discovery of her inappropriate emotional expression!

- Anne's conditions in general! If you want to go scary with it, maybe she develops a new one, and it's...particularly frightening.

- There are actually vampires in East Peck!

- Dwayne's mother died two months before he was born. In the podcast, we figure out that she actually died two weeks before he was born, and biology is a lie. So, Dwayne was literally born in a morgue to a dead woman...there has to be some kind of horror plot to come out of that. Hell, even just a retelling of the story of his birth would be horrifying! Maybe it's also left him with some abilities. Talking to the dead stuff, etc. I'm just spitballing here, just do with it what you will.

- There's a zombie apocalypse! Turns out East Peck is kinda the place to be. Carol Anne's great at zombies.

Don't be afraid to go full dark humor with these if that's where it takes you, or to go melancholy/dark/whatever with one of the treat ideas.

Treat ideas:

- Okay, but, concept: a firm Halloween party! There are only three people in the firm, yes, but they make it work. Who decides that they're going to have a Halloween party? Is it Dwayne? Does Josh secretly love Halloween and get super, super into it? Is Carol Anne invited, and does she actually come?

- What's trick or treating like in East Peck? What's Halloween in general like in East Peck? Do their thoughts on witchcraft and sorcery in general inform their opinion?

- Taking Anne's daughter out trick or treating!

- Taking Princess Anne trick or treating over the years!

- You don't have to do something Halloween focused! Maybe have Josh go antiquing, possibly with company, because there's no way he doesn't scour flea markets and thrift shops and antique shops for his grandma interior design. Where on earth did he find that tea set? Does Carol Anne judge his interior design choices?

Or give Dwayne a boyfriend, because that would be cute. (In that situation, you can go ahead and write Dwayne/OMC shipfic. Maybe one of the cameramen falls for him, much to Cameraman's dismay and the dismay of all his colleagues, everywhere.)

- What about that time Chuy went into his demon form and was like that for three years? You can go full shipfic for Chuy/Joe if you want. Did they move to Midnight soon after that incident? What caused Chuy to change anyway?

- Lemuel's years as a vampire before meeting Xylda, becoming more and more unhappy with the whole 'killing people' thing, getting to Midnight, meeting Olivia...basically, I loved "Lemuel, Unchained" and I want even more backstory for him. (Shipfic with Olivia is fine if you're writing about Lem.)

Mentions of canon romances are fine, but it would be cool if you'd place this at a point where Connor's single, though you can definitely have the aftermath/emotional fallout of his romantic relationship/s play a part in the story.

- The ED is haunted! Or the OR is haunted! Med is haunted! Connor is haunted, and he's starting to wonder if he's losing his mind! Maybe he is! It's not up to me to decide!

- What happened the night Connor's mother killed herself? Anything about his mom's suicide would be super interesting, actually.

- Mental illness runs in Connor's family, and he's not spared. You can go full suicide attempt if you want, honestly, but if you do I'd prefer at least a little h/c.

- I know I'm really banging this in, but any of my likes can act as a prompt and I'll be absolutely thrilled if you go for one of them.

Hi! I'm glad you're writing for me.

Just so you know, I requested these fandoms because I want to see fic for any/all of them. Even if one entry is longer than the others (you'll be able to tell immediately which one I am referring to), don't let that get you down. I'll love any fic for any of the fandoms, and if you ODAO I'll still be thrilled.

I'm going to say right off that I prefer gen to shipfic, but background ships are fine. There's more on that in the prompts.

incidentally—and this is obscenely late and I know I said I wouldn’t change anything else in the letter so, writer, if you literally never ever see this do not worry—I also have a comment on the Crueltide post on Dreamwodth, if you want to see some very dark things I like. It slipped my mind to put it on this letter until...now. So, I thought I’d mention but I figure it won’t change much/anything. Sorry again! (December 6th, 2017)

I'd love other characters being included in major or minor roles, I just want there to be a fair amount of focus on the requested characters caring about and being exasperated by each other. Also, I am fine with Chandler/Kent in the background.

Specific prompts:

Joe becoming part of the Miles family.
Sickfic? Chandler gets sick and completely refuses to acknowledge it.
Miles is afraid that Joe's impaired sense of self-preservation may not be as unconscious as he thought. (As in, he's worried that he's suicidal. I'd rather there not be any completed suicide, though.)

I would really prefer gen/friendship fic, but I'm a-ok with ships like Jason/Janet and any combination of Chidi/Eleanor/Tahani (though Chidi/Eleanor is my favorite) as long as the ships are not the main focus of the fic. What I really want is friendship and dysfunctional found family fic with these guys, in any way. Hurt/comfort and angst would also be fantastic, because I'm a huge fan of dark/angsty fic for sitcom fandoms.

I really enjoy the way Eleanor and Jason interact as the two "bottom of the barrel" inhabitants of the 'Good Place', and I just would like to see more of their friendship. I just want to see them bonding, even if it's (on Eleanor's part) from the place of 'oh thank goodness there's someone here who's not better than me and who listens to me, sort of, and also he could very well get me damned for the rest of eternity so, gotta be careful about that, protecting him is protecting myself, etc.'

I also would like to see Jason and Tahani maybe getting to know each other, especially since they started out as soulmates. Maybe they keep finding each other too?

And Chidi and Tahani hanging out too.

Actually, just various permutations of these characters, and/or all four of them together, or even just the various permutations as long as you can hopefully fit the four in one fic. Also, maybe some more about their lives before death? None of them seemed particularly broken up about dying, honestly, and I think it might be interesting to explore that.

Maybe even a post-Bad Place fic where they can actually get to know each other for more than eleven months, or a fic where they always at least register that, huh, maybe they know each other, and how they meet up. Or a fic that would probably be canon divergence post-Team Cockroach where they try to dodge Vicky while getting to know each other again at a deep level, and maybe, if you want to go darker, the 'Good Place' gets more genuinely sinister.

But I mostly just want fic with all of these characters together as a dysfunctional family with bonus hurt/comfort, and throw in any dark elements you want. But ODAO. Go wherever you want as long as you don't include my DNWs.

Also, I'm watching the new seasons as it airs, so no worries about spoilers, and I know writing for an ongoing canon is wild, so...don't stress about it.

(And feel free to include Michael or other characters.)
